All inclusive Building Permit

• All property owners must have builders liability insurance before the commencement of any work on the property.

Please submit the following all together on one email for your building permit request. 

• 1. Building Permit Application
• 2. Approved Septic Permit from Hood County Environmental
• 3. If in Flood Plain - a flood plain permit issued by the county
• 4. A survey
• 5. A plot plan showing
  •  Lot lines
  • Easement lines
  • Measurements of distance from lot and easement lines for any intended placement of home (including future) homes,  structure, fence, or storage including patios and driveways, any planned (including future) fences, storage buildings with their placement with dimensions. 
  • You cannot park in the easements so there must be a planned area for parking.  If you are putting a driveway in or the planned parking crosses over a culvert you will need to show how  you will protect the culvert (material used to hold the driveway off the culvert. 
  • Placement of utility poles and any current poles or support lines on the property
  • You will need a current Picture of the lot
• 5. Design of home with colors. materials, shape of the home and where the front door will face.  A front door must face the street
