Secretary/Treasurer (combined position) - Hope White (Incumbant), LaDonna Zumwalt, Duane Kidman, Katie Phillips
Maintenance Director -- Shane Huckabee, Sabas Quintana, Mark Grooms

My name is Christopher Walton, and I’m a U.S. Navy veteran with a degree in Applied Science and only 40 credits remaining toward my B.A. in Cybersecurity.
During my time in the Navy, I deployed three times in four years while stationed in San Diego, CA, at Beachmaster Unit One (BMU-1). BMU-1 was made up of five teams: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Echo.
I held two additional positions: Repair Parts Petty Officer (RPPO) and Training Petty Officer (TPO).
As RPPO, I managed a budget of $1.1 million in equipment and supplies. My responsibilities included ordering, tracking, and maintaining all inventory, maintenance parts, weapons, and communication equipment. Our team was audited quarterly, and I never received a score lower than 95%.
As TPO, I trained over 40 Beach Party Team (BPT) members, including reserve personnel and members from other teams, ensuring consistent operational readiness and safety standards.
Many of you have seen me at the office — I’ve been there six days a week, working alongside Shane Huckabee, Hope White, and Katha Deel to restore the office, files, QuickBooks, shop operations, and the transparency this community deserves from its Board of Directors.
A vote for me is a vote to keep this community open, transparent, and driven by its members.
I'm Shane Huckabee.
I am running for Vice President of the HOA.
I have 4 sons, all 4 have grown up in this community.
As a father and a grandfather, I would
love to live in a community that is able to come together in joy rather than the fear we've all had this passed year.
I have lived in this community for over 30 years and my wife Sonyia Huckabee and I have owned our house for the last 15. I have seen the board at it's best and recently at it's worst. I am running for VP because I would love to be apart of the growth in this community and to assist in moving this board back into the direction of transparency and positivity.
I have been a Manager for 3 different companies over 12 years with a range in 3 to 20 employees under myself.
Under Big Reds and Three Rivers I was the Logistics Manager.
My position required me to coordinate the pick up or drop off of all heavy equipment such as tractors and lawn mower etc.
I feel I would qualify for this position because of my experience in management, willingness to listen, the knowledge to assess and problem solve the situations at hand and simply because I really care about this community.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask me!

Hello I'm Kati Phillips – Secretary/Treasurer Candidate “Leading with honesty, compassion, and a heart for community.” Full Bio: My husband, John, and I have been proud homeowners in this community, and we’re deeply passionate about helping it thrive. Having owned and operated a construction company for nearly 30 years, I’ve gained extensive experience managing budgets of up to $1 million annually, maintaining clear communication with clients, and ensuring that their needs and priorities were always understood. These skills — organization, financial responsibility, and strong communication — are essential for the Secretary/Treasurer role, and I’m eager to put them to work for our neighborhood. In addition to my professional background, I’ve enjoyed serving in several leadership and volunteer roles over the years. As a PTA secretary for my children’s schools, I organized many successful events for students and families, helping strengthen connection and school spirit. I also served as Vice President of the Basswood Cross HOA in Saginaw in 2020, navigating the unique challenges that year brought and gaining valuable insight into how an HOA can balance structure with compassion. John and I have been married nearly 30 years and are blessed with three grown sons and two grandchildren. We love this community and want to see it united like never before. I believe in leading with authenticity, honesty, and compassion for all residents. If elected, I will work to ensure transparency in communication and finances, foster trust among homeowners, and help create a neighborhood we can all be proud to call home.
I am honored to be nominated for the position of Secretary on the Lake Granbury Harbor Owners Association Board of Directors. Having previously served as Secretary for the HOA Board, I understand the responsibilities and importance of accurate recordkeeping, consistent communication, and transparent governance. I take pride in maintaining organized and precise meeting minutes, attending meetings regularly, and ensuring that all correspondence and board actions reflectprofessionalism and respect for all Members.
With a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and over 20 years at
Lockheed Martin as a Project Manager and Senior Research Scientist, I bring a disciplined, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to board service. As a licensed Texas attorney in good standing for 25 years and a former real estate agent with the Texas Real Estate Commission, I value integrity, neutrality, and sound judgment in all matters. I look forward to continuing to serve our community with the same commitment to fairness, transparency, and effective communication that defines responsible leadership.
I’m running for Secretary/treasurer of this HOA.
I couldn’t be happier to have an opportunity to serve a community that I fell in love with.
It would be nothing but an honor to be able to give back and be a part of the growth.
I was a general manager for a pilot truck stop, I was a general manager for La Cucos restaurant for year and I was an administrative assistant for a nursing/rehab center. I absolutely love those positions and would do them all over again because all of those kept me working, kept me focused, and made me very happy. With each position I had there was always some type of accounting, data entry, inventory control, scheduling payroll, and I was customer driven. I’d love to have an opportunity to be community driven here.
I’ve seen what can happen in just a months time. Imagine what can happen in a years time. My goal for this community is to be able to secure your financials to build you a reserve and to learn what it’s gonna take to make sure we have a set of standards in place to never have to go through what we just did.
I absolutely love working in the office with Chris Walton, Katha Deel and SHANE HUCKABEE. Even though I am surprised every time we are together, how much we manage to progress together as a team.! No matter who’s voted in I wish you well. The goal here is to make sure that your community is safe
